Dr. Lough is specially equipped to grasp the challenges of the current moment in history. He holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of Chicago, where he focused on the social, cultural and intellectual foundations for fascism in Germany.

Dr. Lough holds an M.A. in Church History from Pacific School of Religion, where he explored how capitalism reshaped the ways Christians experienced themselves, their God, and their world.

Dr. Lough was a lecturer in Economic History and Theory at the University of California, Berkeley, where he explored how capitalism shapes the categories economists use to understand our world.
